BioI am Deanna Taylor. My nick-name is acutally "Dee-Dee". Some people just call me "Dee". I like to sometimes use my alias "leonalunarlight". "Leona" because I am a Leo and "Lunarlight" because I like the light of moon - especially on clear nights when I am camping in the desert!
I live in West Jordan, Utah and am originally from Maryland. I teach at a progressive public charter school called City Academy (www.cityacademyslc.org). I am the Educational Support Services Coordinator and the Service Learning Coordinator there. I have a BS in music education and a MS in curriculum and instruction. I have endorsements in music and special education. I have taught in Maryland, Washington State and in Utah.
I am married to a wonderful man, Tom King, and we do almost everything together! We have four wonderful children, ages 19 - 30. Together we formed the non-profit organization, Blue Sky Institute
Most of my family lives in Maryland. I have two brothers and one sister, all who live in Maryland along with my parents. I am the oldest.
